It's like they couldn't figure out what to do. Like they had all these weird threads going and were in a meeting one day and said, "Screw it. We can't dig ourselves out of this one. Let's just go with the 'angel' thing and leave it at that."

Frak! Total bummer. I was hoping for a more Utopian ending with Cylons and humans finding a common goal to work towards. But then again, I still miss the flying motorcycles from Galactica 1980!

It was pretty Frakking fragmented.

Neil: If by Utopian you mean "technology free solitary agricultural homesteads", then I guess you got the ending you wanted.

Jack: What do you mean?

I Hated it with a capital H!
Things I Hated:
1) destroying the galactica/ sending the entire fleet into the SUN
2) setting everyone back to the stone age instead of some kind of human/cylon city or something
3) absolutely NO EXPLANATION for starbuck

Also, when you kill off like half the characters throughout the course of the series, it kind of ruins it. I don't feel like they won at they end, since so many people I liked got killed.

I think if you're going to have a 5 year story arc it's very important to think it out in advance to know where it's ending. The middle should be the means to get from the beginning to end. It's like the series had a lot of great middle but had no idea where the end was supposed to be.
