Mazal tov!
Many more happy years together.
Thank you for sharing those photos - if not for the blue eyeshadow lady in the background they look like they could have been taken yesterday!

Wow, is that legal!? And people say I was young.

Happy anniversary!! :)

Firstly, we were young - once. thanks for noticing. In 1987 blue eye shadow was "in", so were shoulder pads, but I digress.

The author of the blog shortly after the wedding stopped wearing contact lenses and grew a beard, so people would take him seriously. Other than that, he is exactly the way I found him, but with a way better set of wheels now.

By the way, this happened to be the coolest wedding of the century, sorry you all couldn't have been there with us, but you're here now, and that's what counts.

Thanks for all your warm wishes and Mazel Tovs.

And, oh yes, I got a new monster chair for our anniversary.

The groom looks like a Beatle ("Mop-top Mark" :) ), and the bride reminds me a bit of Annette Funicello, though blonder and prettier. (It's the curly hair.)

Mazal tov, and may you two enjoy may more happy years together.

You guys were cute with a capital Q. :D

Mazel Tov. And your picture is exactly the reason that I grew started rockin' a beard shortly after I got married. Maybe one day I'll actually post a picture of myself too.

Mazal tov to a great couple!

You've now been married about half your lives! The next twenty years will mostly involve grandchildren. The twenty years after that will mostly involve hearing aides and walkers.

Mazal Tov on your anniversary. I am so glad you decided to post pics this year. Very sweet pictures.

PT you look great without the beard. I am sure by now, people must take you seriously (hint hint....let's us see you without the beard.) : )

Congrats!

sweettooth- before we encourage my father to take drastic action regarding his facial hair, we should not fail to take into account these undeniable truths:

1. this picture was taken twenty years ago.

2. the last time he went beardless, my brother hid in a closet and wouldn't come out - a move that, in retrospect, is completely understandable.

3. goatees make him look like tim curry.

i'm all for bringing blue eyeshadow back though.

My father did that at one point too, rumor has it me and my siblings treated him like a monster for a very long time.

PT: Has the time flown? Does it feel like 20 years?

Is that an argyle pattern kippa? :)

PsychoToddler said...

In one respect it certainly doesn't feel like 20 years, but in another it really feels like everything that happened before my marriage was another lifetime ago. I don't feel connected to those days at all.

That's one of those rainbow pattern yarmulkes that my sister made for me. I really should photograph all my srugies.
