Ich hob nicht kain Mazel...

Remember last year?

My sisters were supposed to fly in today. So naturally we have a blizzard here. So much for that. Meanwhile, my brother-in-law is trying to make his way up here from Chicago before Shabbos.

At least Fudge, Grandma, Laya (and the rest of the crew) and the Miami squad are here.

Be good!

I'm in the northern suburbs of Chicago right now, and it's bad here as well. At least I'm leaving work early to be home before shabbat!

Still in the 60's in Nueva York :-)

Did Someone forget it's December? ;-)

I miss the snow :(

My brother's bar mitzvah was after a Cleveland blizzard... then the temp dropped to 20 below. Think 3+ feet of snow, -20 degrees, and a Bar Mitzvah boy who was 4'6". Apparently, it is still the most well-remembered simcha for many family and friends, because people aren't in a rush to leave. Enjoy!!!

In February, my cousin got married to a girl from Monsey. needless to say, the morning of the wedding, there was a massive blizzard. Thankfully, my family had heard about the imminent blizzard beforehand, and all managed to find a place in Monsey to stay at overnight. Of course, they all found the SAME PLACE... which happened to be my house. I love my family and all, but I must admit, they can get in the way when six of them are sleeping in the middle of the living room. Anyway, that's my blizzard/simcha story. Have a good shabbos.

I hope your brother in law and the rest of your family are safe! I'm glad part of the fam made it in pre-snow.

Shabbat Shalom!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe all that snow.

Thankfully, these are the only snowflakes here in Miami. Please don't send them home with your Miami squad.

Shabbat Shalom.

Have a wonderful weekend. I hope everyone has made it safe by now.

At least it's December. Two pesachs ago it snowed in Cleveland. There is no excuse for that.

Snowed over a foot, if I recall correctly. That was pretty nuts.
