Mazel Tov!
Tuesdaywish's son took first place for the Diaspora in the Chidon Hatanach in Israel!
I'd like to share some credit for his superior intelligence, but unfortunately he's only my nephew by marriage.
My blood-relatives still can't decide if it's called the "Batmobile" or the "Batmanbile".

As long as they don't confuse it with the Batroom!
It just goes to show that everyone has a purpose in life.
Some poeple make messes, others clean them up.
And my cousin's husband makes up the tests.
Congrats to him! Like your blog, come visit my blog so you could see another psycho toddler.
batmanbile doesn't sound very nice to me.
does it sound nice to you?
Steg: indeed.
Robbie: So which one am I?
SoccerDad: I guess we are both one married step away from greatness.
SWFM: I dunno...seen one psychotoddler, seen em all.
HNC: This was the subject of a 20 minute debate between my nephews in the back of the car on the way to the airport. Shudder.
PT: I caught the "blood relatives" reference ;)
ASJ: That's how you know you're an old-timer ;-)
Ok, please explain what Chidon Hatanach is?
Thanks.
Psycho no way. My 4 yr old is as different as they come. It is definitely worth looking at. It's about my life as well.
you mean it's not batmanbile?
ST: It's the International Bible Contest. The finals are held in Israel. Try as I might I cannot find a website for it. Can anyone find a link?
SWFM: You said your kid was psycho, not me. Personally, I think "Psycho toddler" is redundant anyway.
EC: Maybe it's Batmanwheel?
P.T.: and your problem with a debate over batmanbile vs. batmobile is what?
I'm not saying there's a problem. I'm just pointing out the difference between the level of intellectual discourse in my side of the family versus my wife's.
As to whether encyclopedic knowledge of the Tanach is preferable to knowing, once and for all, whether "the batMANbile lost its wheel" or "the batMObile lost its wheel," I leave that to the reader's discretion.
it's george washington.
P.T.: I agree...I don't see this as a problem...I believe the question of batmanbile vs. batmobile has great significance in determining the future direction of car design. I think this is just as important as encyclopedic knowledge of the Tanach. See, your side of the family has just as many smarts, and you didn't even know it.
it's george washington.
Fudge is going really deep with that reference
Thanks for all your good wishes. The Chidon Hatanach does not have a website (though it certainly needs one). English-language Israeli news sources call it the Bible Contest or Bible Quiz.
