That was darling, she sounds very nice. I watched it twice. I like the way she turns the pages. I laughed when the drums started in and you started getting into the groove.
We sent her to University School that summer and they did a whole project on "What a Wonderful World" where they made pictures for each part of the song, which helps explain how a 5 year old could learn the whole song like that.
That is really precious. It must be so nice for you to have all these memories on video. I was wondering how she knew the song so well at age 5. Thanks for the explanation. Shabbat Shalom.
In early '05 I got a new computer (blogged about it)and video camera and proceeded to transfer all my old home movies to DVD. I discovered a lot of really funny scenes. I'm glad Google video gives me the opportunity to share some of them.
When my cousin was 4, he knew all the words to "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers. My brother knew "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover". I have a great memory, but I haven't heard of myself knowing all the words to any grownup songs.

The vocals are there, but she's got some rhythm issues. Once she works those out, she'll be set.
That indeed is the perfect song for this video. How precious. What great memories you and family will always have.
Cute.

Reminds me of an annoying beer commercial. But this is much better. What are the pages she's holding?
Yum.

Bravo! Bravo! Encore! Encore!
We were just talking about what age our 7 month old could start taking piano lessons...
Awww
Wanderer: The earlier the better. You can find a Suzuki violin teacher I bet. Then the little prodigy can start violin around 2.

PT, how do you do that exactly? We have old 8mm film that my parents took in the 50-60s. I also want to transfer whatever we are taking now onto dvd.

This is PRECIOUS!
Brilliance!! That girl has more poise than Doris Day, more vocal power than Ella Fitzgerald, more confidence than Barbra Streisand. I love it.
