Purim Blog Parodies @ The Muquata

I don't do a lot of post-pointing around here, but I have to write something about this.

Jameel @ The Muquata is organizing an absolutely hysterical series of blog spoofs over at his place. Most of them are spot-on, but I particularly like the lampoon of Jack's blog, which includes one of his classic audioblogs. And even though it's a woman doing the audio...I dunno, after a while I forget it's not really Jack.

This is such a great idea! Why didn't I think of it. Oh. I know. Because it would be a lot of work.

Nu, so where is PurimToddler already?

PT: Wow! Thanks, I appreciate the link...

The good news is, the blogs will still be around for next purim :)

And I hope to still get to PurimToddler this year.

Are you trying to say that the Texan Woman has a voice that sounds like mine.

I have been called many things, but female is not one of them. Hmm... ;)

Jack: Its OK...we know its not your fault...it was the estrogen patch.

Jack, calm down, really, I'm not meaning to imply that you are somehow subconsciously over-effeminate or anthing like that.

I'm sure the reason that that Texas woman (I don't know who it is, but it's not the Shmata Queen) sounds like you is that she's playing it a little butch. Yeah, that's it.

I thought Shola did the spoof. :)

I can't wait to see a PsychoToddler spoof - nu, come on, people!

C'mon, Ezzie, Shola's a guy from Nigeria, not a gal from Texas.

I think the problem with spoofing PsychoToddler is that the blog is already pretty much a spoof of itself.

True, which is why it's hard to do DovBear, Muqata, and Godol Hador, too. But hopefully one of your readers will take it up! (Sorry, I'm already doing another one...)

I feel left out, too.

I feel left out too. Maybe we should start a Purim Parody for... LOSERS.

I am calm, I am schooled in the ways of Tai Kwan Leap.

A few bloggers thought I was the Texan who did Jack's parody! Uhh, not me! My voice is unmistakably Cleveland. (Ezzie would recognize it in a heartbeat)! Oh, and I don't own a bird. :)

Are we even sure that it's a Texan? Maybe it's an Oklahoman or Kentukian.

cleveland- two fingers in the nose and a "I wish I lived somewhere else" kind of voice.
