Shlock Rock in Milwaukee

Me and Moe in Chicago, 1992

I'm working on putting together a Shlock Rock concert in Milwaukee on Monday, November 14th. The Moshe Skier Band will be backing up Lenny Solomon. I hope any of you who are within travelling distance can make the show. The money raised will benefit one of our local schools.

I'll update this as more information becomes available.

UPDATE: The show is on! Details about where and when and what time and how much are on my website. I hope that those of you in the Milwaukee/Chicago/Madison area can attend. It will be fun.

Also, I found this at Lenny's website.

Ooh ooh look at me- *gasp* that's me as a baby! I'm so cute! Look at that cute little nose and those cute little cheeks and that cute little curly hair! I'm so precious.

This sounds sooo fun. Too bad I will be nowhere near Milwaukee on the 14th. Damn.

Unless there is a tunnel ( areally short one) that goes from Long Island to Milwaukee I doubt I can make it. I must say though, that the blond dude in the back looks like someone I played with but the name slips my memory.

Oh, Manishevitz, I'm gonna miss *another* one. :(

It's bad enough that there's no "bootleg" recording of that wedding that you did with Ruby Harris. *Please* record this one! I don't care who sells it on which website or how you divvie up the dough (some to Lenny, some to you, Mendel and Dan, some to the school, maybe), just please do a favor for us unprivileged characters and get it out there.

P.S. 30cal/Moe, you're just askin' for a major teasing from Fudge. :)

Do you have any free recordings out there anywhere? I like your Katrina song and I want more, but I'm poor.

1. Shlock Rock may be coming to a town near you! Check with www.shlockrock.com and see if there's a concert in your area.

2. If there isn't, Shlock Rock makes a great fundraiser. It is appropriate for children of all ages and there is a wealth of Jewish Education going on in each Shlock Rock concert.

3. Although I don't travel much, if there is a Shlock Rock show coming in your area and for some reason you really want to see me play bass, let me know, and I'll see if I can get on the gig.

4. I'm going to be really busy running the sound system and playing, so I can't record the show, but if anyone in the audience can do a bootleg, let me know and I'll try to do some posting.

5. There are about 50-60 free songs over at mosheskier.com and if you download and burn them you'll have about 5 albums worth of free music. The can be found on both the /music and /bootleg subpages on the site.

Sorry dude, going to see Aerosmith and Lenny Kravitz that night in Providence. Would be a bit of a schlepp anyway.....

add me to the list of people who are sorry they'll be over 1000 miles away.

Don't see Dallas in there. Perhaps you can have a talk with them about that!!

If Dr. Bean, Jack's Shack and myself all promise to be there, can you come to L.A.?

Just thought it was worth a shot ...

A three way split on airfare and expenses is still pretty steep.

I'd love to get The Moshe Skier Band out there one day. Shlock Rock has played there often. Shake up a few organizations and it can happen.

Wish I could be there! Why not a national tour?
