Add some Yoga and it will really drop. ;)

Sweeeet! I was 140/92 this morning, with the enalapril. I think being in the doctor's office increases my pressure. She won't take me off the BP meds unless I get down to 90/60

I'm an ignoramus... what's considered good, and what do the numbers mean?

That is so awesome!!! Keep it up, PT!!

Og: There is something called white-coat hypertension. Perhaps you do have some of that, due to nerves.

Dont go too low. It isn't the limbo. Congrads on your good numbers, may you and the mishpacha have a happy and healthy year. Now if only I could do something about my 203.....

Well, it just goes to show you that it pays to study.

Now, for all the changes to your diet that we are going to be making, you are having spaghetti squash with your dinner tonight.

And if you're really good, I'll have Jack put some Yoga on the side.

Oh, I see now! Before I read through the comments I thought you were soliciting recommendations on what proof is preferable in a fine whiskey (I tend to like my proof numbers in the mid 80's)... but now I realize that you were talking about your Blood Pressure stats.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Oh, and BTW... good going! :-)

Jack: Yogurt gives me gas

Og: (Hail King of Bashan!): see stacey's comment. You should get a series of readings outside the doctor's office. But keep it up.

Ezzie: Look here.

dilbert: Don't worry, I'm not aiming for syncope (doctor joke). (Not very good either). I'm still on the first dose of medication. I think I got a hole in one with the Benicar. Of course, I'd like to think that the exercise and lifestyle modification had something to do with it.

About that 203, is that your blood pressure, your cholesterol, or your glucose?

Mrs. B: Thanks for all your support.

Doctor Bean: Yeah! Let's break out the whiskey, cigarettes, amphetamines and then wash it down with a couple of pots of salted coffee!

Trep: Wasn't I talking about whiskey? The link is in the title. People never seem to notice that.
